Bling bling..someone got earrings

What better way to celebrate 9 months then with some beautiful cubic zirconia's?

We headed to the doctors office to get it done. I've been wanting to do it but decided I didn't want to wait too long.

last time with un-pierced ears
MiMi joined for some support and to participate in 3 generations of ear pierced babies.

Peyton did so wonderful, she of course cried when she got them but we danced around the room and looked at ourselves in the mirror and were fine...though she didn't really give a good look to the doctor afterwards.

Right after
Maybe a special little girl will get a new pair of earrings for her first birthday...
could she get any cuter?!

Happy 9 months!

Please tell me another month hasn't gone by???

Our sweet baby is:
Weight: 17 lbs 10 oz (28%)
Height: 28 in (64%)

She is right on track with everything! She got pricked for a blood test but didn't notice until the lady kept squeezing her heel.

Many new things happened, here's a recap:

-Started crawling and loves getting around
-Pulls up on her own on anything and everything
-Started to wave regularly and its not just any wave, its pageant material!
-Got 1 more tooth (total of 6 now)
-Stands up in her crib every time she wakes up

 Likes:
-Clapping
-Loves hearing herself laugh and seeing herself laugh too. If we are out and I hear a 'forced' laugh, I know there is a mirror around
-Loves crawling away from us when we say "I'm gonna get you"
-Loves pulling on daddy's hair & ears
-Likes eating avocado and peas

 The wave:

Dislikes:
-Diaper changes. I've gotten pretty good at a crawling and standing diaper change
-Sleeping throughout the night and in her crib. We sleep half the time in our crib and the other house with mommy & daddy (but I'm not complaining)

Everyday is something new and getting better and stronger!

Awesome Austin

A few weeks ago we went to Austin for some R&R and we had such an awesome time. We definitely think Austin is in our future (though being Aggie it would be really really hard to be around t-sippers all the time).
The weather was pretty chilly for March but we bundled up and headed to our outside adventures.
Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center

The Century Tree was part of their exhibit so we had to take a picture!

Impromptu family pic!
Zilker Park Botanical Gardens:
Loving the waterfall

Had to get a picture with the dinosaur

where is Peyton?

father/daughter love

first train ride!

first Austin hike

Some of the delicious restaurants we went to:

The County Line...LOVE their BBQ and the view!
My favorite coffee place..I only wish we had one in Htown
Kerbey Lane. AMAZING queso and pancakes (we ate them together)

Fun in the hotel

Loves playing with daddy's hair

On our way back home we stopped at Blue Bell to take a tour and get some free ice cream. It was the first time for Cade and Peyton. Peyton loved the ice cream at the end of the tour and started to cry when I wouldn't give her more (I only let her lick the spoon but she wanted more).

The moment it all started...

Bluebonnets

On our way to Austin we took a little detour to hit a beautiful bluebonnet field right outside of Navasota on HWY 6. I have never seen so many bluebonnets in my life! The only bad thing was that it was about 40 degrees and really windy, so we didn't really get to stay long. As soon as we started taking pictures, more people came and got right next to us (who does that anyway?) so Peyton was distracted by looking at them!

Looking off into the field...or just the people

We were wondering why she was so happy....

then we saw what was in BOTH of her hands

yep pretty happy

When we got back to Spring, we found a small little area of bluebonnets and took more!

I'm tired of pictures
